Expel Natural Animal Repellent - FAQ

Skunks are digging in my yard and the Expel deterrent is not helping.

In the case of skunk digging up a yard, this occurs because the animal has found a reliable source of bugs, insects or grubs in the ground or lawn. Once an animal knows that a reliable source of food can be found they will keep returning to that area.

The urge to feed and the knowledge of an easy meal will take precedence over any repellent that you use.

In short, you need to remove the food source; to get rid of these insects and bugs.

Delta Guard Granules and Bayer Complete Insect Killer will kill off this food source.
Both of these products are available at Amazon or at a hardware store.

Once this has been done, EXPEL repellent will continue to keep skunks away.

Many customers have success repelling cats from their yard using our product, but
all cases are different.

If the animals have alread marked a strong "territory" by leaving their own scent in the area, then it may be harder to repel them.  We suggest spraying the product liberally every other day for the first couple of weeks.

Before applying Expel Natural Animal Repellent, be sure to hose down the intended areas to wash away any prior scents that the animals may have left there.
